Week 10 

The children have enjoyed another amazing week in Class RB. We have started the week re-telling our own version of the Little Red Hen. We have created actions and a story map to help us remember the story. The children have really enjoyed pretending to be the mouse, rooster and little red hen  - perhaps you could ask your child to retell parts of the story at home? 

Our Local Area 

This week the children have been thinking about the different points of interest in their local area: Droitwich Spa. The children have looked at maps of Droitwich and spoke about what they recognise and where they have visited before. As a class, we spoke about the library, the Lido park and shops like Morrisons and Lidl. Here is a map that we have shared with the children... 

Phonics

This week in phonics we have learnt the following phonemes: 'v', 'w', 'x' and 'y'. You can see these below: 

Pudsey! 

Finally, we had a very special visitor on Tuesday, Pudsey Bear! The children loved seeing him and learnt all about the importance of Children in Need.
