School Opening Hours

Our school begins with a soft start. This means that the school doors are open from 8:30am for children to come into school and are closed at 8:40am. 

All gates onto the playgrounds are locked at 9:00am until 3:00pm.

Preschool is open from 8:30 until 3:00. Morning sessions run from 8:30-11:30am and afternoon sessions from 12:30-3:30pm.

For Reception to Year 4 the school day runs from 8:40am until 3:10pm.

Morning breaks for both Key Stage 1 and 2 are 15 minutes long.

Lunch time for Reception and Key Stage 1 is 1 hour 15 minutes starting at 11:45am and ending at 1:00pm.

Lunch time for Key Stage 2 is 1 hour starting at 12:00pm and ending at 1:00pm

Afternoon breaks for both Key Stage 1 and 2 are 10 minutes.

A typical week in school is 32.5 hours per week for children in the main school.
