Week 2
Week 2
The children have enjoyed another busy week in Class RBS. We have been planting Daffodils in Forest School, practising our gluing skills and looking at maps of the United Kingdom.
Forest School
The children enjoyed planting Daffodil bulbs in Forest School this week. The bulbs were kindly donated by the PTA and the children had an amazing time planting them on Wednesday afternoon. We can't wait for Forest School to be full of Daffodils in Spring!
Where do I live?
Our new topic is focusing on the theme:'where do I live?'. This week we have been looking at a map of the United Kingdom and finding where the country England is.
More or Fewer
In maths this week, we have been comparing quantities by using phrases such as 'more than' and 'fewer than'. The children have been taking 'handfuls' of objects and comparing them with their friends.
Joining materials together
The children have been practising the skill of gluing this week by using our 'gluing station'. They have enjoyed using glue sticks and a wide range of materials to create their own collages.
Children in Need
The children have loved the 'bearpees' challenge this week! Each day we completed a set of 'bearpees' and on Friday we spoke about the importance of Children in Need.
Have a wonderful weekend.
