Internet Safety

With children spending more time than ever online due to school closures, it is important to make everyone aware about the importance of being safe online.

On Tuesday 9th February we will focus on Internet Safety Day 2021'.

  • Thinkuknow THINKUKNOW provides a helpful breakdown of information to guide children in KS1 and KS2 about how to safely watch videos, share pictures, chat online, play games and use personal information. For children aged 4-7, the Jessie and Friends three-part animation series helps children know how to respond safety to risks that they may encounter.
  • Making good decisions online Making good decisions online A number of activities, quizzes and animations to teach children aged 7-11 about how to make safe decisions online. This five-part animation series sees a crew of children guide the cartoon characters in their quest, and helps them to make the best decision in order to stay safe online.
  • Net aware NSPCC has reviewed the most popular apps, games and social media platforms that children use. Parents can use this site to see how appropriate these platforms are - and find out about any potential risks.
