Leaves, sticks, straw and bricks...
Forest School
This week we were lucky to have two special visitors in our Forest School session. Mrs Roberts, our school Science leader and our chair of Govenors - Nick Sanders.
The children learnt all about different types of leaves and using magnifying glasses and identification sheets found lots of different species including yew, holly, birch and horse chestnut.
I'll huff and I'll puff!
This week we have continued to look at the story of The Three Little Pigs. We had a wonderful session exploring the materials the pigs chose to build their homes out of, recreating them and then using Mrs Rudkin's hairdryer as a 'wolf' to see which material was best.

This week we continued to look at the story. We built houses from bricks.
We glued houses and ordered images, coloured pictures and created story maps.
