Week 7

Autumn Fun!

The children have had another superb week in Class RBS. We have been learning to use mathematical language such as 'more than' and 'fewer than', exploring Autumn objects and learning new phonemes during Phonics. 

More or Fewer? 

In Maths this week the children have been comparing quantities by using language such as 'more than' and 'fewer than'. We have been looking at pictures like the one below and deciding which person has more, and which person has fewer.

Autumn Senses 

This week we have been using our senses to explore the world around us. The children have been thinking about what they can see, feel, hear and smell during Autumn time. 

Phonics

Below are the sounds that we have learnt this week. Can you practice saying them at home with your child? 

This week we have been reading...

We have been reading 'Oi Cat, Oi Dog and Oi Frog. The children have enjoyed searching for rhyming words!
