Week 8
In maths this week we are looking of ways to sort. This might be sorting by colour or by size. The children were given opportunities to explore this and find ways of sorting independently. Our number song of the week was '5 current buns'. This children really enjoy using the props and coins to buy the current buns and count how many are left on their fingers. It was lovely to see them carrying this on as a smaller group after the whole class carpet session.
The children are being encouraged to notice signs of Autumn and talk about what they see from outside.
