Week 2 & 3
This week we were introduced to the text Jasper’s Beanstalk.
Through this text we learnt about how a seed grows. This led us to learning about how seeds and plants survive. We learnt that they need space to be planted, soil, water and sunlight.
In phonics we are able to blend simple CVC words when Mrs Bartle segments the word out loud, for example
c-a-t=cat.
World Book Day was lots of fun with many children dressing in comfy clothes and bringing in books for a book swap. We spent the day enjoying stories and feeling very cosy!
