Week 5
The children have enjoyed another busy week in Class RBS where we have talked about parts of the body, experimented with colour mixing and learnt four new phonemes (sounds).
Our Bodies
This week we have continued to learn about our bodies. We have spoken about body parts that we can see, and body parts that we can't see. For example, brain, heart and lungs. We also learnt about our skeleton and how it helps us move.
Colour Mixing
The children have been practising their colour mixing and exploring how to make different colours using red, blue and yellow.
Phonics
We have learnt four new phonemes this week. I wonder if you can practice saying them at home?
We have also learnt our first tricky word - 'is'.
