Week 1
Following a week off for half term, we enjoyed hearing about the adventures and experiences the children had. Lots of the children were able to talk about pumpkins, Halloween and bonfire night. We helped them to talk about their experiences with Halloween dressing up outfits, firework pictures and pumpkin play dough making.
The children particularly enjoyed Mrs Goulding's silent, glitter firework! Their faces lit up with excitement and asked how it was made.
At the end of the week, we talked about 'Poppy Day' and what the poppy represents. We made poppy artwork and watched a special Cbeebies Remembrance Day video from a Rabbit's perspective. The children watched beautifully, asking appropriate questions and feeling happy for the rabbit at the end of the clip.
