Week 5

Hello Sunshine!

I'm not sure how long it will last but it was wonderful to see the sunshine this week and watch the children enjoy spending time outside - playing on the field at lunchtime with the rest of the school and building obstacle courses on the playground.

Fee Fi Fo Fum - watch out everyone here I come!

This week we have been learning the story of Jack and the Beanstalk using a story map. On Friday we used our story map to retell the story to a partner. The children showed brilliant listening skills whilst their partner was speaking.

Seed bugs!

The children really enjoyed making bugs from different types of seeds this week. After gluing on the seeds in a pattern they waiting patiently for the glue to fry before adding legs and antenna.
