Week 3
Happy New Year!
This week we have enjoyed learning about how people celebrate the Chinese New Year. We have learnt where China is and enjoyed making lots of dragon crafts, playdough models and cutting up noodles. We have decorated the home corner and enjoyed serving food to our friends
Five little speckled frogs
This week we have used the song 5 little speckled frogs to learn all about the composition of 5. The children have enjoyed using their fast fingers to show numbers and have started to talk about addition and subtraction too.

Reading Morning
Thank you to everyone that came to school on Wednesday to support our first reading morning. It was lovely to see and hear the children so happily. We will continue to open our doors every Wednesday for the rest of this half term for adults to come and read in the classroom.
Phonics
This we we have learnt a further 4 new diagraphs. Please have a look at how they are pronounced and the mnemonic to help remember it too.
Outside play
Finally I thought you may like to see us enjoying the ice and frost during outside choosing time.
Have a wonderful weekend.
