Week 3
Week 3 - We're in full time!
This week we have dived straight into our full days at school. The children are now taking part in 4 mini lessons a day - phonics, Maths, English and an afternoon lesson such as RE or Understanding the world. The children are also taking part in 3 guided reading sessions with myself.
I am so proud of the way the children are coming into school and organising their belongings. It's so fantastic to see. At the beginning of the day the children find their name and put it on our registration board. After that they make their way to their table and have a go at a range of activities to strengthen their fingers.
Fantastic phonics
This week we have learnt 4 more sounds. Here are the sounds if you would like to practise at home. Each sound has a handy pronunciation guide and a rhyme to help write it too!

Forest School - Monday
On Monday we will head out into Forest School in the afternoon. Please come to school in the Forest School Uniform. We will change into wellies so ensure they are in school too.
