Week 3
Come and join the Celebration!
This week we have all been very excited about the upcoming Coronation for King Charles! We have immersed ourselves in different activities such as cutting out jewels to decorate crowns, writing invitations to our Coronation party and creating Union Jack flags and we have decorated our classroom with our own handmade bunting!
We have learnt about the Royal Family, who is in the Royal Family and looked at historic footage of the Queen's Coronation. We enjoyed looking at the guards, the parades, the throne and were really fascinated by the Queen's golden carriage!
On Friday afternoon we celebrated the Coronation by having our own party, we ate delicious food and had a whole school photograph!
We have had a fantastic week learning about the King and the Coronation and it has been a truly special time.
