Week 6
Mr Wolf's Pancakes!
This week we have been reading a story called 'Mr Wolf's Pancakes'. The children have really enjoyed learning what ingredients are needed to make pancakes and have shared their favourite pancake toppings with their friends.
Sunshine!
Although the weather has still been cold, the children have really enjoyed spending time in the sunshine this week. They have really enjoyed making pancakes and burgers using natural resources that they have found outside.
Maths
In Maths this week we have been thinking about 'patterns'. The children have been copying and creating repeating patterns using a range of resources.
Phonics
This week in phonics we have learnt two new sounds: 'air' and 'er'. We have now learnt all Phase 3 sounds and you can download a copy of these sounds below.
