Week 2
Week 2
The children have been very busy this week continuing their learning with our new topic 'Where do I live?'. The children have been learning about the United Kingdom and the different countries that make up the UK. The children have been really good at naming England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland!
1, 2, 3, 4, 5
In Maths this week we have been learning about the counting pattern of numbers up to 5. The children have been putting the Numberblocks in order, recognising that the next Numberblock in the pattern is 'one more'. The children have noticed that it looks like a staircase and have enjoyed making this pattern during their play.
Phonics
This week in phonics we have been learning new sounds which you will see below. A video has also been included showing how to pronounce the sounds we will be learning this half-term.
P.E.
In P.E. this week we have been learning to travel confidently on a range of equipment, linking it to the story Jack and the Beanstalk. The children enjoyed climbing down the beanstalk and jumping into the giant's saucepan!

Have a wonderful weekend!
