Week 13
As I write our very last blog I find myself feeling a huge mix of emotions. I think back to their very first day in Reception and look at how far they have come, their independence, friendships made, resilience and how they have bonded so well as a class.
This week we have thought about our favourite memories in Reception, including our Christmas nativity, the farm trip, sports day and our music festival. We have also been doing a lot of transition work, completing our 'Passport to Year 1' and talking about the things we are looking forward to and sharing together some of our worries. I know that each child is so ready for the next part of their journey and I know they will rise to the challenge of being in Year 1.
I feel incredibly proud of each and every child in RP, the progress and achievements they have made is outstanding. I have gotten to know each child so incredibly well and feel so very lucky that I get to teach them next term too.
I wish you all a safe, relaxing and happy Summer holiday. I can't wait to welcome the children back into our new Year 1 classroom in September
Thank you all for your continued support and I look forward to working with you all in the Autumn term.
Stay safe and happy holidays!
