Week 3
This week we introduced the story of Little Red Riding Hood. We focused on the repeated phrases ‘all the better to…. you with’. The children have enjoyed re-enacting the story with puppets and using books and illustrations to retell it to each other.
In Maths we have been learning to subitise two. The children are encouraged to say there are two of something without having to count, they just see two. The children love learning number with ‘Mr Buttons’, our maths puppet with three buttons on him!
