Week 7
This week we enjoyed exploring colour mixing with paints and continued to develop our painting skills at the creative table.
In maths, we have been learning to find something that matches or is the same. We looked at our hand prints. Some hand prints matched because they were the same size or the same colour. Some did not match because they were bigger or smaller. The children could describe and compare their findings using mathematical language.
During music time, we sang nursery rhymes that we have learnt holding on to Mrs Goulding's scrunchie. The children enjoyed using it to feel the different textures, pass round the circle in time to the beat and using it as part of action songs.
