Week 6
Welcome to Week 6! It's been a very busy week with the children fully preparing for Christmas! The naughty elf has been up to his usual tricks again, which the children have absolutely loved. I hope they have been telling you all the naughty things he has been getting up to in our classroom.
The children have also been using their expressive arts and design skills by creating beautiful Christmas decorations, the children have loved exploring the glitter and glue!
We also started off the week with 'bring a stick to school day'. The children loved bringing a stick into school and comparing it with their friends. We brought them to the carpet in the morning and discussed what our sticks could be. We came up with the following ideas:
- Sword
- Magic wand
- Broomstick
- Crocodile
- Hose pipe
You may have also seen our Christmas song this week, the children were absolutely amazing, especially with signing the second verse - a huge congratulations to them all.

Finally, the children had a lovely time practising and performing their Christmas story - The Sleepy Shepherd. The video will be out on Friday 17th December but here is a lovely photo of all the children in their amazing costumes!
