We have definitely been getting into the Christmas spirit this week and have been enjoying a special visitor in our classroom - the naughty Christmas elf! The children have been so excited to arrive each morning, wondering what he has been getting up to in Class RB!
The children also enjoyed their Christmas jumper day where we spent the afternoon making musical instruments, playing them alongside some very festive music!
The children enjoyed our forest school session this week, where we made caves for a bear, which links to our current story 'We're going on a Bear Hunt'. This week the children have been learning to retell the story but with a twist! Instead of a bear we have been using a polar bear, where we encounter ice and snowballs instead of mud and forests!
We finished off the week with a real treat, some of you may know that Miss Redfern is also a swimming paralympian! We were lucky enough to see her medals on Thursday which the children thoroughly enjoyed.
We hope you have a lovely weekend.
