Week 3
Welcome to week 3.
It has been wonderful to see what the children have been upto via the photographs and daily reports from Mrs Rushton about all the amazing things that have been happening. Thank you to Mrs Baldwin for stepping in and leading this week.
No-one was more surprised than me to discover that half my family tested positive on Monday after we had all taken tests on Sunday. We were taking tests due to contact at my son's school. Luckily, my children have been well and I've had cold symptoms, sore throat, headache and runny nose. I'm feeling better today and am optimistic for my tests on Saturday and Sunday in order to return on Monday - fingers crossed!
This week the children have been so busy both inside and out.
Lets start with forest school where the children learnt all about the parts of a tree. They learnt what deciduous and evergreen meant and were able to spot the different types in forest school and around the school grounds.

Look at the fun the children had building this amazing construction together and playing with the ice!

Inside the children explored moving across the equipment in the hall as part of our topic explorers.

This week the children have been learning diagraphs. These are 2 letters that make one sound. So s and h come together to make sh.
Have a look at the sounds they've learnt this week.
Thank you to the fantastic team for working so hard this week.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend.
See you next week.
