Week 3

This week we have been enjoying the tale of Goldilocks and the three bears. We have been learning to retell the story using key phrases. We have also been using language to describe size, just like in the tale.

In maths, we have been learning to ‘subitize’. This means we can say straight away if we see one, two or three objects without even counting them!

At the malleable table, we enjoyed the challenge of placing the cheerio’s on the spaghetti strands, using careful fine-motor skills.

One of our new skills to focus on this week was to learn how to use scissors, we have all tried really hard to position our thumb on top and move the paper as we cut, not our hand.

Children In Need was a day full of crazy hair! Thank you to everyone for taking part and for your kind donations.
