Week 3
Week 3
In RB this week we have been busy enjoying full-time school! We started reading a book called YOU CHOOSE which is a picture book all about choosing your favourite item from different themed pictures. The children have really enjoyed talking about the different things that they like, from their ideal holiday destination to their favourite mode of transport. Maybe you could show the page below to your child and discuss the foods you would love to eat?
In maths this week we have been looking at objects that match. Here are some of the questions we have been thinking about:
- Can you find one exactly like mine?
- How do you know it is the same?
- Can you find one that is different to mine?
- Why is this one not like mine?
We also had our first PE lesson where we had fun with the big parachute. We practised making different movements and the children particularly enjoyed saying hello to their friends underneath the parachute!
Finally, how can we forget the start of forest school. The children were so excited to explore our forest school area and enjoyed talking about what they could find. We also spoke about the importance of staying safe and how to look after each other when in forest school.
Please remember – stay and play sessions start next week!
We hope you enjoy your weekend.
